I've discovered over twenty years of research on Zeamer's crew, including a multitude of personal interviews, including surviving crew members, that there is quite a lot of misinformation out there. Through a novel I hope to publish and feature screenplay I hope to sell this coming year, I hope to correct the record. In the meantime, I just have to point out that the gentleman you show as being an elderly Jay Zeamer is not Lt. Col. Zeamer, it's Gen. "Hap" Arnold, the commander of the USAAF/AAC in WWII. You can find a photo of an elderly Lt. Col. Zeamer here: http://bit.ly/1gVbcrHClinthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16131071036109081147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8734950473572563387.post-6114075118136792602013-10-27T03:28:19.512+11:002013-10-27T03:28:19.512+11:00One of those stories I've never heard - thanks...One of those stories I've never heard - thanks for sharing. His scavenging to ready a bomber reminds me of the stories of LT J.F. Kennedy building his mosquito boat.duna6430https://www.blogger.com/profile/04376525930239816040noreply@blogger.com
