Camouflaged subjects

Camouflage:
- The disguising of military personnel, equipment, and installations by painting or covering them to make them blend in with their surroundings.
- The clothing or materials used for disguise.
- An animal's natural coloring or form that enables it to blend in with its surroundings.
- Actions or devices intended to disguise or mislead.

Byter Grahame E sent me a collection of pics of camouflaged wildlife, which challenges you to fine the camouflaged subjects. He sent this to me in 2 emails, the first with the pics and the second with the reveals marked. I will do the same but, to make it more interesting, I have added a few ring-ins.

It occurred to me as I typed the above that overseas readers may not be familiar with that expression.

Ring-in:
Australian and New Zealand slang
- A horse or an athlete fraudulently substituted for another in a competition or event.
- A person or thing that is not a genuine member of a group or set.

That seems appropriate, to have a few ring-ins in a post about camouflaged subjects.

Graham’s pics:

Okay, this is a ring-in.  It's John Rambo from Rambo: First Blood, Part 11, as is the next one, the scene when you become aware he is camouflaged in the mud when his eye opens . . .

The reveals . . .

Just messing with you, there's no reveal on this one because it's a ring-in with no concealed animal.

Thanks, Graham.
