I never thought I would see the day when a peach was wearing knickers and it was a turn on.
What???
Yep.
There is a chap in China, Yao Yuan, who noticed that his peaches looked a bit like women’s butts. With the Chinese equivalent of Valentine’s Day, Qixi festival, coming up, Yao had an idea. He had a lingerie firm made up mini women’s knickers, put them on the peaches and sold them at $80 a punnet. Now he can’t keep up with demand, his online business is thriving and he offers an alternative for those who want something ore than lacy knickers: versions in leather, studs and chains are also available.

Moving from China to Seoul, as a follow up to the fascinating front doors post of last week, artist Choi Jeong-Hwa has used 1,000 recycled doors to decorate the facade of a 10 storey building. He did this back in 2009 and has commented that:
”I couldn’t really draw so I didn’t think I could become a painter, but I really liked walking. So I used to walk “between streets and narrow alleys and discover garbage piles and construction sites. I realised that ‘normal’ people built and created things better than artists or professionals. Plus, what they were making was more natural. I decided against becoming an artist and decided instead to be an ordinary person who thinks like an artist.”
