Shadow Sculptures

Some statues and sculptures utilise light and shadow to create beautiful and fascinating effects. Here are some examples.


The above statue, The Star Sower, is located in Kaunas, Lithuania.  The true effect comes at night . . .

Even more fascinating are the shadow sculptures of Diet Wiegman, whose abstract sculptures made from trash and from everyday objects cast remarkable images under light:
