An apology and a Quote for the Day

Firstly, my apology for not forewarning that there might not be any Bytes on Saturday and Sunday. I spent a few days with my father in law in Canberra where I have previously been able to connect to his wi-fi. I was under the impression that if I could receive emails then I would also be able to send emails and post Bytes. Not so. 

I mentioned to someone on the weekend that in the medieval days the priests were the holders of all knowledge and learning, that they communicated with God and interpreted His Latin word for the uneducated, ordinary people. Today the god is computer technology and the priests are the computer programmers and technicians. And guess where the rest of us are.
