REPRINT WEEK: CLOTHING FAILS

-----oOo-----

An article from the Daily Mail at:

Call the fashion police! Shoppers share some very questionable clothing designs, including cowboy boot sandals and shirts stained BEFORE you buy them

Meddling with an age old clothing design in a bid to offer a fresh look doesn't always go to plan.

In a gallery for 365Economist, people from across the globe have shared examples of garments so bizarre you might wonder how they even made it into shops in the first place.

Among the sartorial sins that feature is a pre-stained white shirt - complete with splodges of yellow - and sandals made from cowboy boots.

Elsewhere, a t-shirt sees its female empowerment slogan actually read 'I will give up' after the manufacture crossed out the word 'never'.

Here, FEMAIL shares some of the designs that should have ended up in the bin...

Not a boot, not a sandal: In a gallery for 365Economist, people from across the globe have shared examples of items so bizarre you would wonder how they even made it to the shops - including cowboy boot sandals
_________

Bum design: The maker of this design didn't anticipate how Mickey Mouse might look if the wearer tied it around their waist
_________

The proud dad award goes to! This man from the US, got a matching custom t-shirt and shorts outfit with his baby's face printed on it
_________

Another clothing design disaster shows a yellow pre-stained white shirt for sale in a US store... at least you won't worry about any spillages
_________

Elsewhere, a t-shirt is so poorly designed its female empowerment slogan reads 'I will give up' - after the manufacture crossed out the word 'never'
_________

Would you wear them? These Dukes of Hazzard Daisy Duke-style jean shorts come with cut-out removable chaps
_________

Mixed messages: In the US, one sweater meant to have an uplifting message about 'believing in yourself' doesn't quite hit the mark
_________

Ooops! This designer’s intention was to simply convey a cute and friendly hello with a smiley emoji in place of the 'o'...but it has a darker message if you just read the letters
_________

Shorts with a large belt? Or a jumper that doesn't cover much? A factory mistake makes it to the shelves...
_________

Want some nuts? This cute little squirrel is unfortunately placed... although whether it was an accident or deliberate is unclear
_________

Well, that's awkward! This T-shirt has little beads embroidered on it, which in theory would be cute until you put a hoodie over it
_________

As if we thought Crocs couldn't get any worse, this guy shows up in a version decorated with metal spikes and chains
_________

Something to wear only when it's raining! This unfortunate design somehow passed all the proof-reading checks
_________

Made for walking...in both directions: These shoes were designed for people who don't know whether they're coming or going
_________

Most pointless zip on a T-shirt winner! This design feature has no purpose...
