Monday Miscellany

Friend Vince C sent me an email which contained photographs of various amusing scenes from life in Africa. The final pic in the series is of an advice from the Ministry of Fish and Wildlife in Mozambique:


I have a vague recollection is that I have either previously commented on this, or that I have read about it.

The item is a joke and has been around for a number of years and has been used in various contexts for various countries: 



The following advice, however, apparently did appear on a website commenting on safety in bear country:
Bear scat (droppings) can provide valuable information such as food being eaten and the time frame for when the bear was in the area. However, the scat cannot determine the bear species that dropped it. If it’s steaming, you had better look over your shoulder and make some noise.
